What we haul — and what it costs

Bulk material,
priced on the page

Every price is posted right here — rock and sand by the ton, soil blends and mulch by the yard, one ton minimum either way. Delivery in the metro is a flat $80, or $100 if you only need two tons or yards. No fuel surcharge, no per-mile math, nothing added at the end. Punch your area into the calculator below and it'll hand you the whole number.

A handful of mixed river rock

River rock

$80/ ton

Smooth washed rock in 3/8″ (pea gravel), 5/8″ and 1½″ — same price whichever size you pick. Holds up in Oklahoma heat, doesn't wash out in a downpour, and you never have to redo it.

Beds · drainage · dry creeks

White limestone chips spread over landscape fabric

Limestone

$80–85/ ton

Crushed pale limestone with sharp edges, so it locks together and stays where you put it instead of rolling underfoot. 5/8″ runs $85 a ton; 1″ and 1½″ are $80.

Driveways · paths · borders

A pile of 3-inch gray surge stone

Surge stone — 3″

$60/ ton

Big broken rock, roughly fist sized. This is what goes down first on soft ground or a washed-out drive, and what slows water down before it cuts a rut.

Base rock · erosion · soft ground

A handful of sand

Mason sand

$40/ ton

Fine, clean sand. Mortar and brickwork, sandboxes and volleyball courts, and the easiest thing there is for leveling a low spot.

Mortar · play areas · leveling

A load of fill sand dropped beside the dump trailer

Fill sand

$20/ ton

The cheap one, and rougher than mason sand. It's for bulking up low ground, backfilling and bedding — not for anything you plan on looking at.

Backfill · bedding · low spots

Concrete sand

$35/ ton

Coarse washed sand, the gritty stuff. It's what goes into a concrete mix and what you bed pavers and flagstone into, because it drains instead of holding water.

Paver base · concrete mix · drainage

A pile of screened topsoil dropped beside the dump trailer

Screened topsoil

$50/ ton

Screened clean so it spreads easy and grows. This is what goes down before sod or seed, and what fixes a thin, patchy lawn.

Under sod · leveling · repairs

Fill dirt

$30/ ton

Cheap bulk dirt for building up low ground, backfilling, or burying a stump hole. Not for growing — that's what topsoil is for.

Grading · backfill · low spots

A handful of rich mix garden soil

Rich mix

$80/ yard

Topsoil blended with compost and a little sand. Darker and looser than plain topsoil, so roots get going faster. Our pick if you're filling new beds.

Garden beds · raised beds · new planting

A handful of 50/50 topsoil and compost blend

50/50 topsoil & compost

$90/ yard

Half screened topsoil, half compost. The heaviest feeding mix we carry — good for topdressing a tired lawn or amending clay that has never grown anything.

Topdressing · amending clay · veg gardens

A handful of dark hardwood mulch

Mulch

$65/ yard

Hardwood and dyed mulch by the yard. Bulk beats bagged on price once you're past about ten bags, and there's nothing to haul off after.

Beds · trees · weed control

How much do I need?

Measure the area, punch it in, and see it load up. Then send the number straight to us — you'll get a real price instead of a guess.

Rule of thumb on depth: 2–3″ for mulch and rock in a bed, 3–4″ for a rock walkway, 4–6″ for limestone on a drive over a solid base.

One ton of rock covers about 80 sq ft, and one ton of sand or dirt about 100 sq ft, at 3″ deep — the calculator scales from there for your depth. Estimates only; real weight moves with moisture and rock size, and we confirm the exact load when we quote it.

Sod

A finished lawn,
priced up front

New build with nothing but red clay? Dead patches where the dog wore it down? We haul in fresh-cut sod on the gooseneck and lay it so it takes root instead of drying out in a week. One pallet covers 500 sq ft, two pallet minimum on every sod order. Want to lay it yourself? Delivery-only pricing is right there too.

Pallets of fresh-cut sod loaded on the flat deck gooseneck trailer

Most Oklahoma yards

Bermuda

$275

per pallet, installed

2 pallet minimum

Delivery only $250first pallet $225each one after

Built for full sun and Oklahoma heat, and it fills itself back in once it's established. Goes brown and dormant over winter, then greens back up in spring.

Price my yard

Fescue

$400

per pallet, installed

2 pallet minimum

Delivery only $350per pallet

The one that handles shade, and it stays green through the winter instead of going dormant. Wants more water than bermuda once August hits.

Price my yard

In the installed price

  • Fresh-cut sod hauled in on the gooseneck
  • Laid tight with staggered seams so the edges don't brown
  • Cut in around beds, walks and sprinkler heads
  • Rolled in for good contact with the soil
  • A watering schedule for the first two weeks

Quoted separately — not in the base price

  • Ground prep: killing off the old grass and weeds, tilling and grading
  • Topsoil brought in where the ground is thin or low
  • Hauling off old turf, rock or debris
  • Sprinkler work and hard-to-reach access

The installed price assumes we're laying on ground that's already ready. Text a photo and we'll tell you straight whether yours needs prep first, and what that runs.

Skid steer work

Dirt work and
small tree removal

The trailer isn't the only thing we bring. We run a skid steer for dirt work — moving it, spreading it, grading it flat — and we'll take out small trees and brush while we're there. These are the jobs that are too much for a shovel and too small for a big contractor to call you back about.

Grading & leveling Filling low spots Spreading material Moving dirt on site Backfilling Pad & base prep Driveway repair Washout repair Small tree removal Brush clearing Hauling off debris

Big timber, or anything leaning over a house or a power line, is a job for a tree service with a bucket truck. If that's what yours needs we'll tell you instead of taking a swing at it.

How it works

Three steps, no runaround

STEP 01

Tell us what and where

Call, text, or fill out the form. A photo of the spot helps more than anything — we can see the access, the slope, and where a trailer can back in.

STEP 02

Get one price

Material plus delivery in a single number, before we load a thing. Both halves are already posted, so the quote should just confirm the figure the calculator gave you.

STEP 03

We set it down

Bulk material comes in the dump trailer and goes right where you point. Sod rides in on the flat deck gooseneck, so we'll need somewhere to park a long rig — we sort that out with you before the day.

We run the full OKC metro, north side to south side, and we're not picky about which suburb. Outside the metro? We'll still come — there's a travel charge on top, quoted before we roll so you can decide.

Questions we get every week

Straight answers

How much fits in one load?

Weight runs out before space does. Our dump trailer safely hauls about 5 tons — roughly 400 sq ft of rock at 3″ deep, or 500 sq ft of sand or dirt. Mulch is light enough that you get a full trailer. The calculator above tells you how many trips your job takes.

Will the trailer tear up my driveway or yard?

On concrete or asphalt, no — we dump straight onto the surface and it sweeps up clean. On grass we're more careful: soft ground after a rain is how ruts happen, so we may ask to drop on the drive instead and let you barrow it back. We'll tell you honestly before we pull in.

Do you spread it, or just dump it?

Delivery means we set the pile where you want it. Spreading, grading and wheelbarrow work is available — just say so when you ask for the quote so we can price the labor and bring the right tools.

What's the minimum order?

Bulk material has a one ton minimum — roughly 80 sq ft of rock, or 100 sq ft of sand and dirt, at 3″ deep. Sod runs a two pallet minimum either way, installed or delivery only, so about 1,000 sq ft.

What does delivery cost?

Anywhere in the OKC metro it's a flat $80 on three tons or yards and up, and $100 if you only need two or less — the trip costs the same either way, so ordering a bit more usually works out cheaper per ton. That's the whole delivery charge: no fuel surcharge, no per-mile math, nothing tacked on at the end. Outside the metro there's a travel charge on top, quoted before we roll so you can decide.

How do I pay?

Cash, check, Venmo and Cash App all cost you nothing extra. Card works too, with a 3% processing fee added on. Materials are paid at delivery; sod is paid once the job is finished.

How soon can you get here?

Usually inside a week, but it depends on what's already on the books — sometimes it's the next day. If you need a specific day and time, say so early, because that's the part that's hardest to promise on short notice. Spring is the busy stretch for sod and mulch, so give us more room March through May.

How much sod do I need, and how do I keep it alive?

One pallet covers 500 sq ft and there's a two pallet minimum, so the smallest sod order is about 1,000 sq ft. Installed, bermuda is $275 a pallet and fescue is $400. Delivery only, bermuda is $250 for the first pallet and $225 for each one after, and fescue is $350 a pallet. Once it's down, water it heavily every day for the first two weeks, then back off and go deeper and less often so the roots chase the moisture down. New sod that dies almost always died thirsty.

Does the sod price include prepping the ground?

No — the per-pallet price covers laying the sod on ground that's ready to take it. Killing off the old grass, tilling, grading, bringing in topsoil and hauling off debris are all quoted on top, because how much of it you need depends entirely on your yard. Text us a photo and we'll tell you what yours needs before you commit to anything.

Do you do full landscaping jobs?

Our bread and butter is hauling material and laying sod, plus dirt work with the skid steer — grading, leveling, filling low spots — and small tree and brush removal. Anything past that, like retaining walls, irrigation or big tree takedowns, we'll point you to someone who does it every day rather than learn on your yard.

Who you're calling

One trailer, and
the guy who owns it

CA Landscape started in 2023 with a dump trailer and a phone number, and it still runs the same way. Call and you get Cooper — the same person who prices the job, loads the material and backs it up your driveway. No dispatcher, no getting passed around, no quote that changes once somebody else shows up.

That's most of the reason the reviews below keep landing on the same two words: communication and punctual. Easy to manage when there's one person keeping track of it.
